Thanks. Finally got a good engine on my own again :teehee:

I still miss my old engine, but I think this is just as sexy. Unfortunately, it uses solids because I'm too lazy to make instant collisions with the blocks, but hey, no difference. NO LONGER! :ouch:

Now I'm actually excited to get going on my game :lol:

Shoot, almost forgot. Left and right arrows to move, A key to jump.

it's nice and smooth, and it's not as messy as the one I posted :P. the slopes work alright and all that. Now it'll just need sprite changing, ladders etc.

Check it.

Smoother, better, character sprites ( the ones I'll use in-game ), a few slope things fixed ( like how when you step off a ledge it jumps down a few pixels, and technically doesn't even need solids. Dunno why they're still checked.

built in things are there because they are usefull, gravity vspeed and hspeed are useless but solids are usefull.

the only difference between solids and other objects, is when solids collide with anything, they execute the code
